Life At A Stand Still

One day is up and the other can be down,

Life can make me happy or let me frown,

I need to have a car so I can drive to another town,

To be able to get away and refresh my own sound.

Hi Mavin,
I am enjoying your blog a lot. Your photography is gorgeous. I especially liked the fish in the pool photo.

Do you like to walk? I have read interesting books by people who have walked across the country including a woman named Granny D.

HAIKU YOU'RE BACK!!! :D I've missed you coming by my blog. I read about what happened to you recently and I'm very sorry that happened, I'm just glad that you're okay. Indie is going through a tough time too, I feel sorry for the both of you and I hope all is well with you guys.

I'm glad you're really enjoying my blog. :) Thanks. You know about photography, I really never knew I had a photographer side of me til I bought my camera in Feb. and started taking photos of things, people, and especially nature in the past months since I've owned it. Really all I do to take a good photo is find something, whether it's a plant, tree, landscape, an insect, the sky, cars, or whatever, I just take my time, look at it, and figure out a way to take the photo and also realizing certain angles on how to snap the shot, so that afterwards when I come home and put the photos on my computer it comes out nicely. Photography has really become a part of me lately, I can't explain it other than I just love it. :D And it's so simple considering that nowadays you don't have to deal with film anymore unless you just like to be old fashioned and be a true photographer and develope photos in a red room. But I love being able to take photos after photos and never run out of film or room on my memory card til I've reached at least 500 photos, depending on GBs of memory. Btw that fish photo is of an aquarium at the Sea World here in San Antonio, I love that photo too. :)

Yes I love to walk, I walk at least 3 to 5 miles a day sometimes more since I don't have a car and I'll bike ride at least 10 or more miles a day as well usually i bike ride but my intertube popped til i fix it. But yes I love to use my legs very much, it keeps me healthy even though I do smoke cigarettes but it still keeps me very healthy and very athletic.

Across the country? Honestly I've thought about that, I think during a time in my life I will either walk or bike ride across this country and other countries too just because I'd love to and it would be an experience. I know I could there's no doubt in my mind about that, I would go biking though instead of walking but I could go with both.

Hmmm? I'd like to read some of those books, it's amazing how many people have actually walked or bike rided across this country without anyone or the media knowing except the people they meet, the people that believe they did when they tell them, and themselves.

Anyways, Haiku come back by soon I'm going to post some more photos of nature soon and I have a post that I'm going to start writing about soon about small Yellow Jacket Hornets. There's a nest in my backyard. I decided that I wanted to write about them and I have some interesting things to write about them too.

Take care Haiku, very glad to have you back.

PS - Btw I'm just wondering did you ever happen to write and publish those children books with that name I won on your blog, Nimble? And Camille came up with the name Thrace. Which lead you into the name of the book series Nimble Of Thrace. I'd love to buy a copy and read them if you have. :D

Good luck with your photography and that is something that you can do on your long walk or ride. I have been working on some other writing projects but "Nimble of Thrace" is being incubated as I write this. When I write it I'll email you a copy but can't say when. Oh well, you know the artistic temperament.
