One Plus One Equals Two For Love

If I could have just one chance

To be with you on your travels to France

To be in the city encompassed with romance

To feel your arms held by your stance

So I can swing you round in your own dance.

While you're sitting underneath a tree

Thoughts fill your mind but you're alone endlessly

So you look up towards the night sky

And let the stars shine brightly in your eyes.

Just keep your thoughts of me in your head

I know you're far but listen to what I've said

Soon life will workout for us but let time pass

Troubles we've gone through will be in our past.

I don't think you can catch my cold via the internet, Mavin. Now, that is one good thing about virtual friends.

You might be in the mood for Jacques Brell. I had a French husband once who used this song to me, "There is no happy love." I will post "Love is Blue" for you too if I can snap it on youtube.

BTW Your blog has been developing nicely and now I think it's time for you to step up the "about me" part of your profile. I suspect you have been growing in ways that will surprise you. After all, reading good blogs is a form of education. I am continually learning new things myself and have a new stack of books to read from my blog friends recommendation lists.

And that is the very line,
recite it over and over and over again,
which gives hope to each new morning!

Wonderful stuff, Mavin! Keep rockin'!

Hello Haiku,

Thankfully I can't, I just hope I don't catch one this winter, that is one good thing about virtual friends.

I honestly haven't heard of Jacques Brell before but I'm glad you mention so many good writers nd musicians and whoever else that I've never heard before in your blog and in my comments so I can look them up and I'll look that person up pretty soon and tell you what I like and think about them. How sweet of a husband, I'd love to see that YouTube video when you happen to find it and post it up in your blog or I'll try to find it.

Thanks and yes I think I need to change my about me profile a bit too considering I haven't really been writing much about nature recently, I will write about nature and I still got to get around to writing that Yellow Jacket post but there really hasn't been much going on with nature here since it's fall and I'm waiting to explore other lands in other countries and states before I really start writing about nature and insects and animals on here which will happen over time but for now I'm just going to be writing my literature for now of thoughts, photos, or poems or all the above. Yes I have grown in ways that have surprised me over the months and other blogs and especially your's has taught me a lot. You're like my blog teacher Haiku, I'm not kidding, I've learned of so many people and musicians and books and videos and history from your blog I can't get enough and I learn something new with each visit and no one is never done learning, there's always more to be learned, it's a never ending story.

Take care Haiku.

Hey JGMP or shall I say Singy.

That's my favorite line too however I've been reciting the whole poem in my head while I'm alone and smoking or doing whatever I can't get it out of my head now. lol :P

Thanks Singleton and take care.
